Summary: The Centre for Good Governance (CGG) was established in 2001 by the state government in collaboration with the Department for International Development (DFID), UK to achieve the State’s goal of Transforming Governance. The Chief Minister of the Telangana State is Chairman of Board of Governors of CGG and works with functional and financial independence. CGG undertakes action research, provides professional advice and conducts change management programmes for various state governments, government of India and various international agencies like World Bank, UN etc. CGG works closely with policy makers like ministers, senior officials, management experts, institutions and other stakeholders, especially citizens towards building people centric governance practices in India.
